DARLINGTON - A Darlington man was jailed and another man taken to a hospital after police investigated a stabbing early Sunday, May 12, in the 100 block of East Louisa Street.
Christopher A. Rielly, 34, was arrested on a charge of recklessly endangering the safety of another, according to Darlington Police Chief Jason King. Rielly was jailed pending court.
Police responded to the scene at about 2:30 a.m.
"The initial investigation into the matter revealed an argument between two men resulted in one of them producing a knife and stabbing the other one two times," King said in a news release.
The stabbing victim was taken to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County for treatment of non-life threatening wounds, King said.
Lafayette County deputies assisted police in investigating the incident.
