Nancy A. Scott, age 73 of Darlington, WI, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Lafayette Manor in Darlington. She was born February 11, 1942 in Shullsburg, WI, the daughter of Edward "Ned" and Pauline (Doyle) Dickinson. Nancy graduated from Shullsburg High School in 1960. She lived in Shullsburg until her marriage to Rauley Metz, Jr. on August 27, 1960 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Shullsburg, when they moved to rural Apple River, IL where they farmed. In 1962, they moved to rural Shullsburg where they also farmed. Nancy was united in marriage to Garold "Jim" Scott on December 14, 1984 at Darlington United Methodist Church in Darlington. In 1987, they moved to Darlington where she has resided since.

Nancy is survived by three children: Susan Garvey and Marcia (Rick) Crooks both of Darlington, and Brian (Tina) Metz of Milwaukee, WI; five step-children: DiAnn "Red" (Dennis) Blankenheim of Cross Plains, WI, Kathleen (Dale) Hammer of Cuba City, WI, Janet (George) Ramoz of El Paso, TX, Michael (Lori) Scott of Browntown, WI, and Brian L. (Chanelle) Scott of Keiler, WI; seven grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; two brothers: Ned Dickinson of Florida, and Don Dickinson of Shullsburg; and one sister: Mary Jo (Randy) Piper of Waterford, WI. She was preceded in death by her father: Ned in 1989; her mother: Pauline in 2005; her first husband: Rauley in 1983; her second husband: Jim in 1998; and special friend Donald Monson in 2015.

Nancy was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington. She enjoyed bowling, spending time on the golf course, and playing cards. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Main Street, Darlington) with Rev. John Bosco Pudhota of Holy Rosary Catholic Church officiating. A private burial will be at a later date. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. until time of the service at the funeral home.
