Gladys M. Long, age 68, of Albany, died on Monday, March 10, 2014 in Footville.
She was born on September 6, 1945 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Jacob P. and Hattie J. (Pilz) Haag.
Gladys worked as a nurse's aid at Monroe Manor.
Gladys was an active member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church. She enjoyed scratch off lottery tickets.
She is survived by her son, David A. (Jessica) Long of Rossford, OH; grandaughter, Sheenah (Tom) Long Miller of Rose Hill, NC; grandsons, Kenneth, Timothy and Joseph Long of Rossford, OH; brother, Eugene Haag of Albany.
She is predeceased by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home with Fr. Michael E. Klarer as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
Visitation will be Friday, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
