MONROE - The Monroe Fire Department was dispatched at 11:38 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, to a smoldering fire in some shrubbery in front of the strip mall at 1112 7th Avenue. People on the scene were able to control the flames, and firefighters extinguished the fire.

• Rural Medical Ambulance and Wiota First Response were dispatched at 6:56 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, to a residence on South Road in Wiota.
• Rural Medical Ambulance was dispatched at 6:29 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, to a residence on Wardsville Road in the Town of Darlington.
• South Wayne First Response and Green County EMS were dispatched at 8:14 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, to a residence on West Grove Street in South Wayne.
• South Wayne First Response and Green County EMS were dispatched at 9:41 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, to a residence on West Center Street in South Wayne.
• Blanchardville Ambulance was dispatched to a residence on Gant Road in the Town of Blanchard at 4:17 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, for a person injured when kicked by a horse. A deputy and Yellowstone Lake State Park ranger assisted at the scene.
• Rural Medical Ambulance was dispatched at 6:07 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, for a transfer from Lafayette County Memorial Hospital to a Madison hospital.
