BRODHEAD - Dustin Dean Halvorson, age 21, of Brodhead, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010, as the result of a car accident near Brodhead. He was born on December 9, 1988 in Monroe, WI, the son of Steven R. and Maxine (Hendrickson) Halvorson Sr.
Dustin had attended Brodhead High School.
He is survived by his parents, Steven and Maxine Halvorson Sr., children, Alexis and Kaylee Halvorson, the mother of his children, Andrea Hood, all of Brodhead, three sisters, Angela Wood (Larry Yerk), Rockford, IL, Miranda (David) Klopfenstein, Brodhead, Samantha Halvorson (Mark Schneeberger) Madison, two brothers, Steven Jr., and his twin, Justin Halvorson, both of Brodhead, maternal grandparents, Dean and Ruby Hendrickson, Argyle, WI, paternal grandfather, Eldon Halvorson, Madison, his best friend, Jim Schmelzer, Brodhead, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Janet Halvorson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the D.L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, BRODHEAD, WI. A memorial fund will be established.
