The court Tuesday sentenced Lucas J. Sarakinis, 28, Brodhead, to one year in jail with work release privileges and fined $3,296 after revoking his probation. He was credited with 231 days served in jail.
Sarakinis was sentenced to five years probation after he pleaded no contest to manufacturing and delivering cocaine Nov. 22, 2006. He was arrested for delivering about 7 grams of cocaine to an undercover officer in Brodhead Sept. 8, 2005.
While on probation he threatened a woman, failed to stay in contact with his probation agent and used marijuana.
He was originally charged with manufacturing and delivering cocaine, a class E felony. He faced up to 15 years in prison and up to $50,000 in fines.
The court Tuesday scheduled an April 27 district attorney conference and entered a plea of not guilty for Jeffrey D. Spanton, 42, Beloit, who is charged with drunken driving, driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration and driving after revocation.
Court records allege he had a .092 blood alcohol level when stopped by deputies Feb. 13 in Jefferson township.
He is charged with drunken driving and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, fifth- or sixth-offense, both class H felonies, and driving after revocation, an unclassified misdemeanor. He faces up to 13 years in prison and up to $22,500 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $4,000 signature bond.
The court Tuesday scheduled a July 12 status conference for Robert L. Stenzel, 37, Janesville, who pleaded not guilty to drunken driving, driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration and driving after revocation.
Court records allege he had a .266 blood alcohol level when stopped by deputies Feb. 14 in Albany township.
He is charged with drunken driving and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, fifth- or sixth-offense, both class H felonies, and driving after revocation, an unclassified misdemeanor. He faces up to 13 years in prison and up to $22,500 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $4,000 signature bond.

He faced up to 18 months in jail and up to $20,000 as part of the plea agreement for the class A misdemeanors.
Court records indicate he drank alcohol and drove a vehicle Feb. 16 in Jefferson township while on bond for second-offense drunken driving and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration.
The court Tuesday sentenced Scott A. Houseweart, 55, Footville, to two years probation after he pleaded no contest to two counts of failure to pay child support.
He faced up to 18 months in jail and up to $20,000 in fines as part of the plea agreement for the class A misdemeanors.
Court records indicate he failed to pay child support between Feb. 1, 2004, and March 31, 2005.
