Joseph Brandon, 34, Factoryville, Pa., had four counts of failure to pay child support, Class I felonies, dismissed as a part of a deferred prosecution agreement on Friday, April 11. Court records indicate Brandon had allegedly failed to pay child support for a 10-year-old boy from March 1, 2010 to March 15, 2012. He allegedly owes $19,094.06 for that time period.
On Monday, April 14:
Matthew L. Vanderbilt, 27, Stillwater, Okla., was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of possessing drug paraphernalia. Vanderbilt could have a felony charge of possessing heroin dismissed under a deferred prosecution agreement. Vanderbilt was charged with possessing heroin and drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop on Sept. 6 in Exeter Township. A K-9 unit alerted to drugs in the vehicle. Vanderbilt owes the court $579 for the possession charge.
Rory S. Privett, 20, Monroe, had a signature bond set at $3,000 for misdemeanor charges of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct and battery. He also faces a felony charge of domestic abuse-related strangulation, stemming from an incident that occurred Sunday, April 13. Privett has a preliminary hearing set for May 13.
Bradley A. Miller, 24, Monroe, had a signature bond set at $4,000 with additional conditions that he not possess or consume alcohol or drugs and have no violent contact with the victim of the alleged crime. Miller was charged with domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property as well as possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from an incident that occurred on March 21. Court records indicate Miller attempted to break a woman's phone by throwing it on the ground multiple times, yelling and swearing at the victim and breaking the handle off of a screen door. Officers arrested him at his job and found a silver pipe that Miller admitted was used for crack. He has a preliminary hearing set for May 15.
Misdemeanors
Joseph Brandon, 34, Factoryville, Pa., had one count of obstructing an officer dismissed as a part of a deferred prosecution agreement. Court records allege Brandon referred to himself by another name in a traffic stop on June 10. He allegedly called himself Jeremy Kildow and told the officer who had pulled him over he could not remember his date of birth because of a childhood accident that wiped his memory. The officer checked Joseph Brandon on his in-vehicle system and looked at a photo that matched Brandon. After being arrested Brandon claimed his name was Tucker.
On Monday, April 14:
Derek J. Larosh, 26, Monroe, had a signature bond of $1,000 set for charges of driving while intoxicated and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, both second offenses. Court records indicate Larosh was arrested for DWI stemming from a car crash on March 14. Larosh was found in his Toyota Camry, which had crashed into a tree in the 2000 block of 16th Street, Town of Monroe. After being transported to Monroe Clinic hospital for his injuries, Larosh allegedly threatened to punch a nurse and flipped off a police officer during his field sobriety test. Larosh had a PAC of .194 percent.
Lloyd W. Sterling, 57, Cambridge, entered a plea of not guilty to charges of issuing worthless checks. According to court records, Sterling made out checks to a car dealership in the N2000 block of 18th Avenue on Nov. 21. He made a check out to $1,600 as a down payment on a 2008 Ford Expedition.
Jerome E. Bass, 21, Monroe, had bond set at $500 with additional conditions that he be booked at the Monroe Police Department and not leave Wisconsin or Green or Rock counties. Bass was arrested on Friday, April 11, for resisting an officer. He has a pre-trial conference set for May 20.

Dennis Curtiss Schulze Jr., 25, Gratiot, entered a plea of not guilty to felony charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a prohibited alcohol content, both fourth offenses, and a misdemeanor charge of driving while revoked on Monday, April 14. Schulze Jr. was charged with DWI on March 5, after Schulze's 2001 Pontiac hit a snow bank on Wisconsin 23, Willow Springs Township. He has a motion hearing set for May 6.
