Albany Police

ALBANY — On Monday, Feb. 25:

●  A juvenile was cited for habitual truancy.

●  A parent was cited for parental liability for truancy.

On Wednesday, Feb. 27:

●  A juvenile was cited for driving without a valid license.

On Sunday, March 3:

●  Curtis L. Olin, 54, Albany, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.

On Thursday, March 7:

●  Julia A. Denicola, 53, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid license.

On Friday, March 8:

●  Four juveniles were cited for habitual truancy.

●  Felipe Herrera Gonzalez, 30, Albany, was cited for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance.

On Sunday, March 10:

●  Travis L. Murray, 35, Albany, was cited for non-registration of a motor vehicle.


Brodhead Police 

BRODHEAD — For the week of March 3-9, police performed 41 security checks, 40 citizen assists, three assists of other agencies, 11 vehicle registrations and four follow-ups to incidents; responded to 25 calls for service, seven EMS calls, two fire calls and six 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made 12 traffic stops. There were no detox or mental health transports.

On Sunday, March 3:

●  A scam call was reported at 2:38 p.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street.

●  An Albany man, 49, was cited for non-registration of an auto and not having vehicle liability insurance at 5:06 p.m. in the 2300 block of 1st Center Ave.

●  A domestic argument was reported at 8:36 p.m. in the 400 block of East 5th Avenue. The matter was referred to the Green County District Attorney.

●  A Monroe man, 21, was cited for failure to properly maintain an exhaust system and failure to display license plates after he failed to comply with equipment repair orders issued Jan. 17.

●  An Orfordville man, 28, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance, failure to properly maintain headlamps and illegible display of vehicle plates after he failed to comply with equipment repair orders issued Jan. 17.

On Tuesday, March 5:

●  A scam phone call was reported at 9:36 a.m. in the 800 block of East 4th Avenue.

●  A Janesville man, 53, was cited for speeding at 10:35 a.m. in the 700 block of 1st Street.

On Wednesday, March 6:

●  A parked vehicle facing traffic was reported at 4:01 p.m. in the 200 block of 10th Street. Police issued a warning to the owner.

On Thursday, March 7:

●  A Beloit woman, 44, was cited for speeding at 5:29 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.
