NEW GLARUS — New Glarus School District announced this week that its high school SkillsUSA chapter has been awarded the Top Chapter of Excellence Program in the State of Wisconsin. The recognition was presented this past weekend at the SkillsUSA Fall Leadership Conference.
This outstanding achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of New Glarus students in building a strong and successful SkillsUSA program. Through leadership development, community involvement, technical skill development, and participation in competitions, students have demonstrated what it means to take initiative, work together, and put their skills into action.
SkillsUSA, an extension of New Glarus High School’s Technology Education (Tech Ed) program, provides students with opportunities to apply their classroom learning while developing the technical, personal, and workplace skills needed for future success. The New Glarus chapter continues to demonstrate the value of these experiences while representing New Glarus High School and the community with pride.
“We are incredibly proud of our SkillsUSA members and the work they have put into making this program successful,” said New Glarus High School SkillsUSA advisor Tyler Bass. “This recognition is a reflection of their commitment, teamwork, and willingness to take advantage of opportunities to grow as leaders and develop their skills.”
New Glarus School District congratulates all SkillsUSA members on this well-deserved recognition and extends its appreciation to everyone who has supported the chapter along the way.
