BRODHEAD — On Friday, Dec. 14:
● A Janesville woman, 58, was cited for speeding at 12:49 p.m. in the 300 block of 1st Street.
● A theft was reported at 8:12 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.
On Saturday, Dec. 15:
● A code violation involving a junk vehicle was reported at 10:26 a.m. in the 1500 block of 1st Center Avenue.
● Police responded for a welfare check at 2:48 p.m. in the 1000 block of 19th Street. The person requesting the welfare check could not locate the subject. Police located the subject.
● For the week of Dec. 16-22, police performed 20 security checks, 37 citizen assists, six assists of other agencies, 10 vehicle registrations and seven follow-ups to incidents; responded to 16 calls for service, six EMS calls and five 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made three traffic stops. There were no fire calls or mental health or detox transports.
On Sunday, Dec. 16:
● A code violation of a semi parked without a heavy truck parking permit was reported at 11:52 a.m. in the N400 block of East 2nd Avenue.
● A code violation of an expired junk vehicle was reported at 12:12 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 5th Avenue.
● A code violation of an expired junk vehicle was reported at 12:26 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 7th Avenue.
● A gas drive-off was reported at 12:42 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. Contact was made, and the matter was resolved.
● A code violation of an expired junk vehicle was reported at 1:02 p.m. in the 300 block of 8th Street.
● A gas drive-off was reported at 4:27 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Contact was made, and the matter was resolved.
● A vehicle blocking a sidewalk was reported at 5:18 p.m. in the 1500 block of 1st Center Avenue. A warning was issued.
On Monday, Dec. 17:
● A Brodhead man, 43, was arrested at 7:19 a.m. in the 900 block of 19th Street on a warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff’s Office. He was also warned for trespassing.
On Tuesday, Dec. 18:
● A Darlington man, 35, was cited for passing a school bus at 12:20 p.m. in the 200 block of 1st Street.
On Wednesday, Dec. 19:
● A traffic crash was reported at 12:04 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The crash was determined to be non-reportable. No citations were issued.
● Disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle was reported at 4:32 p.m. in the 2500 bock of 1st Center Avenue. A warning was issued.
On Thursday, Dec. 20:
● A verbal altercation between two people was reported at 12:09 a.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue. Warnings were issued.
● An altercation was reported at 7:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of 21st Street. Contact was made, and the matter was resolved.
On Friday, Dec. 21:
● A Baraboo man, 46, was cited for speeding at 11:44 a.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street.
● A Delavan woman, 32, was cited for speeding at 11:58 a.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street.
On Saturday, Dec. 22:
● A gas drive-off was reported at 5:21 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Contact was made, and the matter was resolved.

DARLINGTON — Brent A. Bair, 34, Darlington, was arrested and jailed for a felony probation violation at about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, following an investigation at a residence on Division Street.
● Alexander M. Hernandez, 17, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance following a traffic stop on Main Street at about 9:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17.
● Steven L. Winters, 31, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance, non-registration of an auto and possessing a fraudulently obtained vehicle registration following a traffic stop on East Street at about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18.
● Emily McGoff, 34, Monroe, was cited for speeding on Harriet Street at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20.
On Friday, Dec. 21:
● Victor Cwiklinski, 51, Beloit, was cited for speeding at 4:11 a.m. on Galena Street.
● Elebic Soto-Alverto, 33, Galena, Illinois, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 11:48 p.m. on Galena Street. Soto-Alberto was also cited for operating left of center and possession of open intoxicants.
On Sunday, Dec. 23:
● Timothy H. Woods, 48, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of false imprisonment at about 1:15 a.m. following contact at a residence on Main Street.
● Jennifer L. Jarrett, 43, Darlington, was referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office for driving with a revoked license at about 1:15 a.m. following contact at a residence on Main Street.
● Tristan M. Rosenstiel, 21, Monroe, was cited for driving with a revoked license and no vehicle insurance at 4:28 a.m. on Galena Street.
Monroe Police
MONROE — Debra Pendray, 62, Monroe was cited for theft following a report of shoplifting at a business in the 600 block of 4th Avenue at 4:47 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13.
On Monday, Dec. 17:
● A 15-year-old boy was cited for battery and released to a parent pending court after officers responded to a call at 11:01 a.m. from school authorities at Monroe High School in reference to an altercation that had just occurred between two students. The investigation indicated that the 15-year-old male student struck a 17-year-old male student.
● Officers were called at 7:59 p.m. to investigate an odor of suspected marijuana in a common hallway of an apartment building in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue. Investigation led police to cite a man found in the area, Kaleb J. Herman, 20, Monroe, for possession of drug paraphernalia.
● Justin W. Wenger, 36, Monticello, was arrested on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections following a traffic stop in the 700 block of 8th Avenue at 2:04 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19. Wenger was found to have consumed alcohol in violation of his terms of probation. He was also cited for operating an unregistered vehicle and driving with a revoked license. He was jailed.
● Shaun M. Kelley, 25, Monroe, was arrested in the 2600 block of 3rd Avenue at 9:13 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, on a warrant issued by the Winnebago County (Illinois) Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear in court on a prior charge of operating while intoxicated. He was jailed pending extradition.
● Shawn M. Hopkins, 28, Monroe, was arrested for felony bail jumping after officers observed him in a tavern in the 1300 block of 17th Street at 2:12 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23. His court-ordered bond conditions in a prior case prohibit him from consuming alcohol or being in bars or liquor stores. He was jailed pending court.
● Travis J. Runke, 46, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence Law after officers investigated a domestic dispute reported in the 500 block of West 21st Street at 11:14 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24. He was jailed pending court, but after his release was subsequently arrested again at 6:02 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, in the 500 block of West 21st Street. He was charged with misdemeanor bail jumping for violating his court-ordered bail/bond conditions and jailed once again.

ALBANY — A juvenile was cited Nov. 29 for disorderly conduct.
● A juvenile was cited Dec. 5 for truancy.
● Samantha E. Stoneback, 27, Brodhead, was cited Dec. 8 for driving with a suspended license.

NEW GLARUS — On Monday, Dec. 17:
● Police removed a dead rabbit from the roadway and notified the Street Department for pickup at 10:35 a.m. in the 300 block of 6th Avenue.
● Karen A. Barber, 40, Evansville, was cited for not wearing a seatbelt at 12:05 p.m. on Wis. 69 at County W.
● Tyler J. Wenger, 29, Monroe, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance after he was stopped for a registration violation at 1:44 p.m. on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.
● A set of lost keys was reported at 4:37 p.m. The keys were located.
On Tuesday, Dec. 18:
● Paul M. Elsner, 58, New Glarus, was cited for not wearing a seatbelt at 9:28 a.m. on Wis. 69 at County W.
● Kristine A. Pryor, 45, Belleville, was cited for not wearing a seatbelt and for driving with a suspended license at 10:59 a.m. on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.
● Hali S. Smith, 27, Darlington, was cited for non-registration of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without insurance after she was stopped for an equipment violation at 11:13 a.m. on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.
● Dennis E. Carpenter Jr., 25, Monroe, was cited for not wearing a seatbelt at 11:37 a.m. on Wis. 69 at 14th Avenue.

● A 911 misdial was reported at 10:11 a.m. on South Wyota Street in South Wayne.
● A deputy responded for an alarm at 10:29 a.m. on Hermanson Lane, Town of Blanchard. Blanchardville police assisted on scene.
● Amy L. Zweifel, 52, South Wayne, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 6:27 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.
● A traffic complaint was reported at 7:07 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.
● Carlos Morales, 22, Darlington, was cited for driving without proper brakes, vehicle insurance or a valid license and failure to stop for a stop sign at 8:09 p.m. on Hawley Road, Town of Wiota.
● A domestic dispute was reported at 10:57 p.m. on School Street in Blanchardville.
