Albany Police

ALBANY — John R. Clark, 47, Albany, was cited for driving with a suspended license on Saturday, April 20.

●  Lu Cinda Blanc, 57, Juda, was cited for non-registration of an auto on Sunday, April 21.

●  Amanda M. Singer, 41, Madison, was cited for driving with a suspended license on Sunday, April 21.


Brodhead Police 

BRODHEAD — For the week of April 14-20, police performed 27 security checks, 43 citizen assists, nine assists of other agencies, 19 vehicle registrations and seven follow-ups to incidents; responded to 23 calls for service, nine EMS calls, one fire call and 21 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made 17 traffic stops. There were no detox or mental health transports.

On Sunday, April 14:

●  A duck found in a basement in the 900 block of East 6th Avenue was reported at 7:16 p.m. The duck was removed from the residence without incident.

●  Disorderly conduct involving a group of people following one person around the city was reported at 11:52 p.m. in the 800 block of 7th Street. Police made contact with the offenders and issued warnings.

On Monday, April 15:

●  A vehicle was cited for being parked in front of a fire hydrant at 10:48 p.m. in the 2500 block of East 3rd Avenue.

On Tuesday, April 16:

●  A dog at large was reported at 9:55 a.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The owner was warned.

On Wednesday, April 17:

●  A Janesville man, 29, was cited for speeding at 6:43 a.m. in the 700 block of 23rd Street.

●  A Monroe woman, 35, was cited for speeding at 9:47 a.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street.

●  Truancy was reported at 4:57 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

On Thursday, April 18:

●  Disorderly conduct involving one person making obscene gestures at another was reported at 12:07 a.m. in the 600 block of East 9th Avenue. Police counseled both parties to avoid one another.

●  A Brodhead woman, 32, was cited for driving with a suspended license and not having vehicle insurance at 9:17 a.m. in the 900 block of 21st Street.

●  A parked vehicle partially blocking a traffic lane was reported at 3:11 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.

●  A vehicle in violation of the city’s Junk Vehicle ordinance was reported at 5:19 p.m. in the 1300 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  A vehicle in violation of the city’s Junk Vehicle ordinance and 48-Hour Parking ordinance was reported at 6:59 p.m. in the 1000 block of 5th Street. Police issued a warning.

●  A Brodhead man, 40, was cited for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance at a business at 9:33 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Friday, April 19:

●  A suspicious bag in the intersection was reported at 4:11 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 2nd Avenue. The bag contained trash. Police disposed of it.

●  A non-reportable accident was reported at 6:02 p.m. in the 800 block of 1st Street. A softball hit out of Legion Park had struck a vehicle.

On Saturday, April 20:

●  A complaint of barking dogs was reported at 11:49 a.m. in the 1000 block of 8th Street. The owners will be warned.

●  Police responded to check welfare at 2:03 p.m. in the 1600 block of East 5th Avenue. No contact was made.

●  A Madison woman, 37, was cited for speeding at 2:59 p.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street.

●  A Brodhead woman, 60, was cited for speeding at 3:25 p.m. in the 200 block of East 9th Avenue.

●  A Beloit woman, 27, was cited for driving without a license at 3:55 p.m. in the 400 block of 1st Street.

●  A Madison man, 27, was cited for driving with a revoked license at 5:24 p.m. in the 200 block of 1st Street.

●  A Morrison, Illinois man, 48, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle and given a written warning for speeding at 6:48 p.m. in the 700 block of 1st Street.

●  A Brodhead man, 61, was cited for speeding at 7:41 p.m. in the 500 block of East 9th Avenue.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — On Saturday, April 13:

●  Neri D. Andrade-Mancilla, 24, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 1:48 a.m. on Sunset Terrace.

●  Victor Velasco-Medel, 32, Darlington, was cited at about 9 a.m. for using a fraudulent ID card, following an investigation at a business on Wis. 81.

On Sunday, April 14:

●  Edu Aburto Morales, 27, Darlington, was arrested on a second-offense charge of driving without a valid license at about 3:35 a.m. on Fayette Road.

On Tuesday, April 16:

●  Scott M. Davidson, 54, Darlington, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct at 2:06 a.m., following an altercation at a residence on Main Street.

●  Bobbi Jo Niedziejko, 38, Darlington, was cited for non-licensing of a dog and violating requirements for rabies vaccination at 4:26 p.m., following an incident in which her dog bit a police officer in the 300 block of Main Street.

On Wednesday, April 17:

●  Kirstin Semenchuk, 22, Loves Park, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 7:31 p.m. on Wis. 81.

●  Richard L. Breen, 60, Darlington, was arrested at 11:06 p.m. on a charge of endangering safety by dangerous use of a weapon, by going armed with a rifle while intoxicated, following a complaint on East Street. He was jailed.

On Thursday, April 18:

●  Thomas S. Massey, 43, Darlington, was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct at about 2:30 p.m., following a disturbance at a residence on Ann Street.

●  Jose A. Hernandez-Herna, 22, Claudio Hernandez, 46, and Claudia Hernandez, 19, all of Darlington, were cited for loud and unnecessary noise at 7:18 p.m., following a complaint on West Harriet Street.


Monroe Police

MONROE — On Thursday, April 18:

●  Angela M. Johnson, 44, Monroe, was arrested on a felony charge of substantial battery after officers investigated an assault at 11:18 a.m. at a residence in the 2700 block of Wis. 69. The incident was reported to police by ER staff at Monroe Clinic, after the alleged victim, a 47-year-old Orangeville woman, came in for treatment of facial injuries. Johnson was also later evaluated at Monroe Clinic for a minor hand injury and for medical clearance for jail. Johnson was jailed pending court.

●  Robert L. Wedig, 54, Monroe, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer after officers responded at 11:33 p.m. to a report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a residence in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue. He was jailed pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Saturday, April 20:

●  Kim A. Bowman, 63, Argyle, was cited for theft of property after deputies investigated a report at 2:11 p.m. that three tree stands had been stolen off private property in the Town of Adams. Deputes recovered two metal-ladder tree stands and discovered Bowman had destroyed the third tree stand.

●  Ramiro Ramirez Vasquez, 29, Monroe, was cited for driving with a revoked license after deputies stopped him for a traffic violation at 9 p.m. on 8th Street at 8th Avenue in Monroe.

●  Jose L. Velazquez, 37, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol after deputies responded to a traffic complaint at 9:07 p.m. of a vehicle traveling all over the road in the W800 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove. Deputies located the vehicle in the W100 block of Wis. 81. Velazquez was also cited for operating left of center, driving without a valid license (second offense) and driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration. He was released pending court.

On Sunday, April 21:

●  Christopher L. Sibley, 33, Monroe, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department after deputies made contact at 10:23 p.m. with several subjects at the Pecatonica Boat Landing in the W9100 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz. He was jailed.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Tuesday, April 9:

●  An animal bite was reported at 3:23 p.m. on Penny Benton Road, Town of New Diggings.

●  Criminal damage to property was reported at 3:53 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton.

●  Timothy J. Ehlen, 52, Potosi, was cited for passing in a no-passing zone at 5:38 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 7 p.m. on Mink Farm Road, Town of Wayne.

●  Bryce T.J. Keleher, 18, Shullsburg, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 11:05 p.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

On Wednesday, April 10:

●  Abigail N. Pahnke, 20, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 12:12 a.m. on Galena Street in Benton.

●  A civil dispute was reported at 12:16 a.m. on Edison Road, Town of Benton.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 9:46 a.m. on County F, Town of Darlington; at 4:37 p.m. on County M, Town of Darlington; at 6:18 p.m. on Each Road, Town of Benton; and at 7:57 p.m. on County M, Town of Wiota.

●  Bradley H. Graff, 51, Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 7:23 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

On Thursday, April 11:

●  A telephone pole in the roadway was reported at 12:54 a.m. on County J in Benton.

●  A tree limb in the roadway was reported at 2:34 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton.

●  Livestock in the roadway was reported at 11:34 a.m. on County M, Town of Darlington.

●  Downed electrical wires were reported at 12:03 p.m. on Wis. 126, Town of Elk Grove.

●  Deputies responded to assist Belmont police with a welfare check at 6:01 p.m. on West Wisconsin Avenue in Belmont.

●  Deputies responded to assist Belmont police with a civil dispute at 6:04 p.m. on Dawn Vista Drive in Belmont.

●  A juvenile problem was reported at 9:28 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont. Belmont police assisted deputies on scene.

●  Justin L. Redfearn, 34, Hazel Green, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 10:27 p.m. to a domestic dispute on Edison Road, Town of Benton. Redfearn was taken to the jail and later released on a cash bond.

On Friday, April 12:

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 4:09 a.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

●  Edgar F. Cortes Martinez, 21, Belvidere, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 6:39 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. A passenger, Fernando A. Flores, 25, Rockford, Illinois, was cited for possession of marijuana.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 8:26 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy assisted with a two-vehicle accident at 1:07 p.m. on U.S. 151 in Grant County.

●  Colton S. Gross, 19, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance at 7:50 p.m. on East Alice Street in Darlington.

●  Marlon Serrano, 26, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated at 10:58 p.m. on Galena Street in Darlington. He was also cited for unreasonable and imprudent speeding, driving without a valid license and operating left of center. He was released to a responsible party.

On Saturday, April 13:

●  An injured deer was reported at 6:30 a.m. on County H, Town of Blanchard.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 10:14 a.m. on Pleasant Drive Road, Town of Wiota.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 11:05 a.m. on County Y, Town of Wiota.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 11:06 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  An animal problem was reported at 11:40 a.m. on Aetna Road, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 2:17 p.m. on Spore Road, Town of Wiota.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 4:58 p.m. on Mine Road, Town of Benton.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 5:05 p.m. on Ench Road, Town of Benton.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 5:52 p.m. on County D, Town of Lamont.
