On May 18:
● At 3:44 p.m., Deputies responded to the N3700 block of STH 69, in the Town of Monroe, for a reported two vehicle crash. The investigation found that a vehicle, driven by Breanna C. Kapp Bride, 35, of Verona, was traveling north on STH 69 had stopped for a vehicle turning into a private drive. A second vehicle, driven by Adelaide J. Byers, 25, of Verona, was also traveling north behind Kapp Bride and failed to stop, causing a collision with the rear of Kapp Bride’s vehicle. All subjects involved advised they were uninjured and they were wearing their seatbelts. Kapp Bride’s vehicle sustained functional damage, without airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene. Byers’ vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. The investigation resulted in Byers being cited for Failure to Maintain Control of her vehicle and she was released pending court.
On May 20:
● At approximately 8:29 p.m., Deputies responded to the N4800 block of County Highway N, Town of Monroe for a reported disturbance. Investigations resulted in Zuteus T Blades, 21, of Monticello and Jayci Wilson, 19, of Monroe, being cited for disorderly conduct. Blades and Wilson were released pending a future court date.
On May 23:
● At 12:51 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of N. Main St. & Lake Ave., in the Village of Monticello. The investigation resulted in Kyle L. Gilbertson, 25, of Argyle, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence and a Probation Hold. Gilbertson was also cited for Operating After Revocation (due to an alcohol offense), Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device, Obstructing Law Enforcement, and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign. Gilbertson was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
● At 4:28 AM, Deputies responded to the Green County Sheriff’s Office for a reported intoxicated driver who was exchanging property at the jail. The investigation resulted in Caydence A. Wenger, 20, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence. Wenger was later released to a responsible person pending court.
On May 24:
● At 12:44 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to move over for a stopped emergency vehicle in the N5200 block of STH 69, in the Town of Washington. The investigation resulted in the driver, Jaxson P. Darrow, 23, of New Glarus, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence. Darrow was additionally cited for Failure to Move Over for a Stopped Emergency Vehicle. Darrow was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
● At 8:08 p.m., Deputies responded to the 100 block of STH 69, in the Village of Monticello, for a welfare check on a motorist. An investigation resulted in the driver, Kirk L. Minkie, 63, of Rock City, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence. Minkie was later released to a responsible person pending court.
On May 25:
● At 4:05 a.m., Deputies responded to the 1300 block of W. 4th St., in the City of Brodhead, for a disturbance. The investigation resulted in David L. Johnson, 53, of Brodhead, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct falling under Wisconsin’s domestic abuse laws. Johnson was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
● At 9:47 a.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 92 & Blazer Rd., in the Town of Exeter, for a reported two vehicle crash. The investigation found that an eastbound vehicle, driven by Sarah A. Schubert, 16, of New Glarus, had slowed to turn. A second vehicle traveling eastbound behind Schubert, driven by Scott R. Miller, 56, of New Glarus, did not see Schubert slowing down and collided with the rear of her vehicle. All parties advised they were uninjured and were wearing their seatbelts. Both vehicles involved sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and were towed from the scene. The investigation resulted in Miller being cited for Inattentive Driving and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance. Miller was released pending court.
● At 1:48 p.m., Deputies responded to the N6800 block of CTH X, in the Town of Albany, for a welfare check. An investigation resulted in Justin W. Hartwig, 40, of Albany, being placed under arrest for Bail Jumping. Hartwig was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
