Elected Experience: None

Why should voters elect you?

Voters should elect me because I bring 35 years of proven small-business leadership in educational technology to Madison. As a lifelong Wisconsinite and retired entrepreneur, I will deliver results on smarter schools and stronger farms. I understand the challenges facing families, farmers, and small businesses because I’ve lived them. I’ll fight for practical solutions on housing affordability, property tax relief, workforce readiness, and supporting family farms — not more government bureaucracy. My battle-tested experience means I’ll get things done for District 50.

What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?

The top issue in our district is the intertwined housing affordability and property tax crisis, which threatens young families, seniors, and rural communities.

How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?

Wisconsin government should operate with fiscal discipline, accountability, and a focus on results instead of endless spending and partisanship. I’ll bring small-business principles to Madison: invest smartly for measurable returns, prioritize workforce readiness for the AI economy.

What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?

My favorite fun Wisconsin history fact is that the ice cream sundae was invented in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, in 1881. A local soda fountain owner served ice cream topped with chocolate syrup — something previously only used in sodas — after a customer requested it on a Sunday. The town still celebrates this sweet legacy today. As a small business owner myself, I love this story of Wisconsin innovation and entrepreneurship turning a simple request into an American classic.
