Brita Saxby of Freeport, owner of pet grooming business Let the Fur Fly in Monroe, talks about her best friend Marshmallow, a 7-month-old French bulldog.
Saxby got Marshmallow from a breeder and shows French bulldogs at dog shows. She has been showing dogs for about 15 years. Marshmallow received her name because she's white and looks like a little marshmallow, Saxby said.

She's very comical. She likes to play, but then she also likes to just lay around and cuddle and sleep. She's a silly little girl.
What do you and Marshmallow like to do together?
She comes to work with me and we go to dog shows. She likes car rides. I've got a little car seat in the front of the car. She jumps right in and sits there. She likes playing with some of the dogs here at work.
What's it like having Marshmallow in your life?
She's very entertaining. She's a good companion to have. She pretty much likes everybody and everything.
