UniverCity Juda
Front row, Juda High School math and engineering instructor Scott Anderson. Second row, UW students Robin Ritchey, Emma Connell and Morgan Keck with Casey Joyce of SunPeak and Juda students Taylor Adkins, Trent Anderson, Justice Falbo and Dogukany Yetgin. The Madison University of Wisconsin Capstone Engineering students and the Juda Engineering Class kicked off the UniverCity project together recently with five UW students touring and taking notes on Juda Schools.

The group is working on reducing energy consumption and giving plans for the school to increase their green energy generation. Currently over 5 percent of Juda’s power is generated through solar power at the school – the UniverCity project will give plans to increase that to 25 percent in stages to help the Juda engineering class pursue grants.
