March blood drive surpasses its goal

MONROE - Four new donors were among those who donated at the bloodmobile in Monroe March 25. There were 193 donors who presented and 194 productive units gathered, more than the 190-unit goal.

First-time donors were Doug Butler Jr., Todd Seffrood, Celine Martin and Robert Beck.

The 1-gallon donors were Janice Brewer, Juanita Butler, Tony Wels and Lucas Koch. The 2-gallon donor was Lois Gilbertson. The 4-gallon donor was Karen Isely. The 5-gallon donors were Paul D. Laube and James E. Fillhouer. The 8-gallon donor was Dale Saxer. The 14-gallon donor was Walt Rufener. The 15-gallon donor was Bill Kilian. The 21-gallon donor was Leland Hartwig.

The next bloodmobile will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 3 at United Methodist Church.
