MONROE — Fowler Dental Clinic has always had a mission of helping brighten the smiles of members in our community, and now they’ve been given a reason to smile of their own: employees of The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank Branches have recently donated $1000 to Fowler Dental Clinic. 

 Employees at The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank Branches had been participating in a “Pay to Play” program, where each participating employee paid $5 every month to wear jeans at the end of the week.

 At the end of each quarter, the total funds raised are given to a local non-profit organization. For the fourth quarter of 2020, The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank Branches decided to donate that money to Fowler Dental Clinic. 

Deb Douglas, the executive director of FDC, wants to thank the employees of The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank Branches for their generosity.

 “We are incredibly grateful for this financial support,” Douglas said. “We rely heavily on grants and donations to keep our doors open, and this [donation] will help us provide patient-centered care to members of our community that need it.”
