Grant to support facility entry repair

MONROE - Green Haven Family Advocates recently received a grant from the Monroe Fund, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, Inc. to support facility entry repair. The grant will cover renovations to the front entryway of the agency.

Over the past few years, the flooring and stairs of the front entry had begun to show wear, officials said in a release. The handrails and posts had become loose and not as sturdy, and the grant from the Monroe Fund will enable repairs to be made.

Green Haven Family Advocates is a community based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the individuals and families affected by abuse and violence through prevention education, advocacy, support and services.
