200 donors give 187 units to bloodmobile

MONROE - Two new donors were among those who donated at the bloodmobile in Monroe on June 3. There were 200 donors who presented, and 187 productive units were gathered, slightly less than the 190-unit goal.

First-time donors were Paul Nelson and Abby Jacobson.

Milestone donors included Sue Rinehart (1 gallon), Jay Jackson (2 gallons), Jeff Holloway (4 gallons), Steve Mihina (10 gallons), David Schmid (11 gallons), and Kathy Kuebli (25 gallons).

Volunteers at the drive included National Honor Society students, members of United Methodist Church and other community members.

The next bloodmobile will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16 at United Methodist Church.
