PLATTEVILLE — The UW-Wisconsin football team began its fall camp on Wednesday, Aug. 2 at UW-Platteville. The Badgers held six practices at the campus in preparation for its first game against Buffalo at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Camp Randall.
JT Seagreaves, a 2021 Monroe graduate, enters his redshirt freshman season after making one catch for three yards in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl game on Dec. 27. After the departure of Clay Cundiff and Jack Eschenbach, Seagreaves is one of eight tight ends on the team, including Hayden Rucci, Riley Nowakowski, Jack Pugh, Cam Large, Cole Dakovich, Angel Toombs and Tucker Ashcraft.
This season also marks the first under head coach Luke Fickell, who previously coached at the University of Cincinnati. The Badgers are slated for 12 regular-season games, with the Big Ten Championship on Saturday, Dec. 2.
