The Monroe Cheesemakers and New Glarus Glarner Knights competed in the Washington County Invite, a 56-team golf invitational at the Hartford Golf Club and Washington County Golf Club on April 11 and April 12. New Glarus finished 38th with a two-day total of 689 and Monroe finished 48th in the two-day tournament with a total of 711. 

For New Glarus, the top golfer was senior Clayton Streiff, who finished 95th with a 164. Senior Lance Brecklin was 137th with a 169. Senior Jackson Erstad was 202nd as he fired a two-day total 180. Junior Isaac Ingwell placed 209th while shooting a 183. Senior Simon Zimmerman fired a 184, good for 211th place. 

The Monroe Cheesemakers’ top golfer was junior Brody Koehn, who finished in 131st place with a 169. Junior Brock Brandli was 166th with a 173. Junior Lance Scace took 178th place with a 175. Junior Nestor Chagoya carded a 196, good for 235th place. Sophomore Troy Spotts was 245th with a two-day total of 210.


Lodi Tournament Golf Results

New Glarus and Monticello-Belleville Competed at a Mini-Meet at the Lodi Golf Club on April 10. Monticello-Belleville finished in fifth place with a 35-over 175. New Glarus shot a 46-over 186, good for sixth place.
