Michael D. Wahl, age 69 of rural Monticello, WI passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 17, 1952 at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Chicago, IL the son of Myron and Donna Jean (Johnson) Wahl. In 1975, he started Concrete Systems, then in 2000, Mike and Diane started Architectural Precast Company. As dedicated as Mike was to the business he spent his life building, his love for his family always came first. Mike was proud of his family.

Mike is survived by his wife Diane at home; his children: Nicole (Jason) Jagodzinski of Fox Lake, IL, Jessica (Casey) Wood of Hermitage, TN, Bronson (Jesse) Wahl of Monticello, Kimberly Ann Hanson of Minneapolis, MN, and Megan Kessler of Plover, WI; 9 grandchildren; three brothers: Marcus (Jane) Wahl of Monticello, Thomas (Janice) Wahl of Monticello, and Gerald (Janet) Wahl of Monroe; three sisters: Melody Flesher of Monticello, Robin Feller of New Glarus and Patricia (Tim) Nicholson of Pembroke Pines, FL.

Mike was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Monroe, WI. When Mike wasn’t hard at work, he cherished the time he spent with his family and friends – especially his grandchildren and the memories they made together. Mike enjoyed sunny afternoons mowing the lawn, watching the Green Bay Packers, and every moment spent relaxing on the deck next to his wife of 49 happy years, Diane. Mike was always the guy who could have a conversation about anything, and had a humorous joke for every occasion. He was never afraid to speak his mind. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
