Optimists encourage area students to speak at oratorical contest Mar. 14

MONROE - The Morning and Noon Optimist Clubs of Monroe are encouraging area students to speak their minds about the topic "Why My Voice is Important," as part of the Optimist International Oratorical Contest.

The local contest will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14 at the Wisconsin Bank and Trust, 1717 10th St. The winner will receive a $150 with the opportunity to win a $2,500 scholarship at the district level.
