MONROE — On Wednesday, Nov. 14:

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 12:18 p.m. on Wisconsin 69 at 8th Street. Cali S. Schliem, 38, Browntown, was northbound on Wis. 69 when she accelerated for the turn signal for another lane and collided with a vehicle driven by a 58-year-old Monroe man. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Schliem was cited for inattentive driving.

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 5:50 p.m. in the 900 block of 12th Street. Shane A. Chesebro, 37, Monroe, was backing his vehicle and collided with a legally parked vehicle. There were minor damages to the vehicles. Chesebro was cited for unsafe backing.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — A one-vehicle crash with injuries was reported in the N5800 block of County J, Town of Adams, at 8:57 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. Jillian B. Thompson, 20, Monroe, was southbound when she lost control on a curve. Her vehicle left the road and crashed in a field. She was taken by Argyle EMS to the Monroe Clinic ER for treatment of her injuries. A passenger in the vehicle, Jonathon M. Parker, 18, Browntown, was also injured and transported by EMS. The airbags deployed in the vehicle, which sustained severe damage and was left at the scene. Thompson was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and driving without a valid license. Parker was cited for underage drinking (second offense).

●  Kathleen K. Hartwig, 69, South Wayne, was transported by Green County EMS to the Monroe Clinic ER for treatment of her injuries in a van vs. tractor crash reported at 6:15 p.m. in the N7100 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Washington. Hartwig was northbound when she rear-ended a tractor hauling a spreader. The tractor was operated by Sheldon A. Grossen, 66, Belleville. Grossen was slowing down to turn west onto Hefty Road at the time of the crash. The air bags deployed in Hartwig’s vehicle, which sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Grossen was not wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. The tractor and spreader had moderate damage and were driven from the scene. The owner of the tractor/spreader, Valley Mead Farms, LLC, was cited for operation of a non-motor vehicle without lamps. The Monticello Fire Department assisted at the scene of the accident.
