Celebrating June Dairy with 2 photos of the Attica Cheese Factory from the early 1900’s. The cheese co-operative formed and officers were elected March 1902. Planning notes indicated the size and details of the building. Cooperative members granted a building contract to C. T. Bartlett (also patron member).

In the 1900’s United States census, Attica cheese maker, Rudolph Zimmerman (1856-1934) was listed as Butter maker. Rudolph was born in Switzerland and immigrated to Wisconsin in 1860 with his parents, Peter and Anna Zimmerman.

The cheese factory exists today as a private residence.
