4th Annual Adult Autism Conference to Cover Crucial Topics
Autism

MONROE — The Autism Society of South-Central Wisconsin is hosting its fourth adult autism conference on Saturday, Nov. 5 to discuss today’s important issues for autistic adults. All stakeholders of the autism community are invited to attend — adults on the spectrum, parents, support workers, researchers, clinicians, therapists, educators, social workers, disability advocates, law enforcement, and business leaders, among others.

The virtual conference will include presentations by both autistic and non-autistic experts on:

●  Housing: Access & Rights

●  Relationships: Back in Person

●  Autism Spectrum Dignity

Presentations will be followed by panel discussions with people from multiple backgrounds and perspectives offering the opportunity for attendees to network, ask questions and join in community conversations.

According to Scott Allen, co-founder and coordinator of INTEGRAL (Interactive Network, Talks, & Education for Growing Autism Legitimacy), “Our biggest goal is to get lots of perspectives in the same place sharing ideas, educating each other, and forging a stronger community through direct interaction.”
