FREEPORT — Tracy Brewer, Monroe, joins the staff of Highland’s Business Institute as a training coordinator. Brewer has worked in the community and technical colleges for the past 10 years, where she managed training and development programs. She believes professional and personal development are the keys to successful people, companies, and communities.
As a connector, problem solver, and idea generator, Brewer said, “I am truly excited to be working with Highland and am anxious to get out and meet industry leaders, and help in any way possible with workforce development needs.”
The HCC Business Institute (BI) provides training and consulting solutions designed to help clients maintain a competitive operation and a skilled, knowledgeable workforce. The program has earned a reputation for instructor excellence, relevant content and practical results-oriented training. Highland prides itself on keeping up-to-date with issues and trends relevant to business and industry.

She has great vision and personal communication skills. She can work well with our internal and external partners and I expect her to help BI grow and better serve our community.”
Brewer earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Northern Illinois University in exercise physiology and business administration. She is an experienced relationship builder and coach who focuses on robust conversation, and inspired momentum. “I enjoy collaborating with clients to discover what they truly seek, and how to experience continued growth and success,” Brewer said.
