Hello everyone. My name is Miah Roth, and I am your 2023 Green County Fairest of the Fair! I am very excited to introduce myself and give you all a little background about myself.
I am the daughter of Darren and Kathy Roth. I live on a small crop farm right outside of Juda. I have always been invested in agriculture one way or another. Whether it was helping my dad, learning how to drive a tractor, or just simply promoting agriculture in the best way possible. In order for me to promote agriculture to the best of my abilities, I decided to run for the Juda Dairy Queen position. I was then crowned your 2019-2020 Juda Dairy Queen!
I graduated high school from Juda in 2021. After graduation, I had to start planning my future for college. I am currently attending UW-Whitewater and I am majoring in Special Education. I will be a junior once the next school year starts. I am currently employed at Walmart here in Monroe, so if you see me, please don’t hesitate to say hello!
Finally, I would like to tell you about why I decided to run for the Green County Fairest of the Fair position. Since high school, I have always considered the position. However, I couldn’t push myself far enough to apply. So, I went onto college for a couple of years. Next thing I know, I see Sharlene Swedlund get crowned as the 2023 Wisconsin State Fairest of the Fair. She then messaged me about the Green County position and gave me that extra encouragement that I needed. I also wanted to continue to promote agriculture, and what better way to do that is through the fair!
I do apologize for the late introduction. I have been super busy already with events and work! I look forward to what this year has in store!
