Fourteen YMCA Mat Rats youth wrestlers competed in area tournaments over the weekend.
Cole Meighan wrestled and placed first at the Wisconsin Dells Youth Tournament on Saturday.
Twelve Mat Rats wrestled in the Verona Warm-Up to Regionals Youth Tournament on Sunday. Placing first were Jack Dubach and Bodie Minder. Taking second were Payton Weckerly, Christian Schuh, Logan Clark and Patrick Rielly. Placing third was Garrett Minder. Finishing fourth was Brady Schuh. Placing fifth was Jaden Clark. Placing sixth were Wyatt Weckerly, Garret Voegeli and Lukas Andersen.
Gage Jelle wrestled and finished second at the Dodgeville Youth Tournament on Sunday.
