MONROE - Monroe Avalanche sophomore Cade Martin received a Badger South honorable mention all-conference honor recently.
Martin was named honorable mention all-conference as a defenseman. The Monroe Avalanche boys hockey team finished the season 2-20 and lost a regional semifinal 12-0 to Beloit Memorial.
Martin scored two goals in the regular season finale to lead the Avalanche to a 7-4 win over Milton. Martin finished the season with five goals and seven assists. The other win for Monroe was a 9-3 win over Madison La Follette.
