THIS WHITE SUV was one of the two vehicles in-volved in a serious per-sonal injury accident at the intersection of Highway 14, Highway 27, and County T the afternoon of Saturday, April 21. The purple cross memorializes a previous fatal accident that oc-curred at the same inter-section.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Aug. 16:

•  No injuries were reported in a two- vehicle accident at 4:32 p.m. on School Street in Blanchardville. Patrick J. Hardyman, 61, Blanchardville, was backing out of a private drive when he struck the vehicle of Kristie L. Foreman, 37, Blanchardville. Foreman’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

On Aug. 17:

•  No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 12:58 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot township. Cheryl A. Rollinger, 64, Apple River, Illinois, was stopped at the stop sign on Wis. 23 and Wis. 11 and proceeded into the intersection where she didn’t see the vehicle of Beth A. Burgmeier, 51, East Dubuque, Illinois, and struck Burgmeier. Both Burgmeier’s and Rollinger’s vehicles sustained sever damage and were towed from the scene.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Aug. 18:

•  No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 3:35 p.m. on the intersection of Wis. 104 and County C in Brooklyn. Loren L. Kautenburg, 76, Kenosha, stopped at a stop sign then continued to the intersection. Kautenburg collided with Jeremy W. Degner, 22, Pecatonica, Illinois. Kautenburg’s airbags did not deploy and the vehicle sustained functional damage. Degner’s vehicle sustained damage and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
