New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 9:45 a.m. Thursday in the high school parking lot. Police report a vehicle driven by Jessica M. Schieldt, 17, New Glarus, hit a parked vehicle owned by Braden L. Rindy, Monroe. The vehicles received minor damage.

MONROE - One person was injured in a all-terrain vehicle accident May 4 at a residence on Witt Road in Mount Pleasant township. Deputies report an ATV driven by Richard W. McLoud, 28, New Glarus, flipped over. McLoud sustained injuries in the crash.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:15 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 11 near Dill Road in Cadiz township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Travis G. Shippy, 24, Monroe, left the road and hit a guardrail after a tire went flat. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Althea J. Trow, 82, Brooklyn, collided with a deer at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday in the W900 block of Wis. 92. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Terry L. Sorchy, 48, Brodhead, collided with a deer at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 104 north of Atkinson Road in Albany township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by William R. French, 65, New Glarus, collided with a deer at about 8 p.m. Saturday in the N6000 block of County F. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Friday on Wis. 81 in Lamont township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Melissa K. Wirtz, 30, Argyle, hydroplaned due to rain, left the road, went into a ditch and rolled. She was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot in Argyle. Deputies report a trailer pulled by a vehicle driven by Wayne E. Stietz, 56, Argyle, hit a vehicle owned by Kenneth D. Polkinghorn, 56, Argyle. Polkinghorn's vehicle received moderate damage.
