Traffic Accidents: Feb. 28, 2013

Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident in the intersection of 19th Street and 11th Avenue at 4:01 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26. Samantha E. Stoneback, 21, Monroe, slid on the ice-covered road and collided with a vehicle driven by Jerrica A. Zimmerman-Stiner, 22, Monroe. There was minor to moderate damage to the vehicles.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday, Feb. 26:

• No injuries and non-disabling vehicle damage were reported in the following deer vs. vehicle collisions: William D. Casey, 51, Evansville, at 2:10 a.m. on Wisconsin 11 near Murray Street in the Town of Cadiz; Debra M. Nash, 34, rural New Glarus, at 4:19 a.m. in the N2600 block of County J in the Town of Adams; John L. Macke, 66, rural Albany, at 5:10 a.m. in the W1300 block of Wis. 59 in the Town of Albany.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 4:41 p.m. on Wis. 69 near Wittenwyler Road in the Town of Mount Pleasant. Terri E. Ingwell, 67, Monroe, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Ruth K. Sybers, 78, rural Monticello, as Sybers slowed to turn eastbound on Wittenwyler Road and Ingwell was unable to slow down. The vehicles were moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

• Marilyn D. DeNure, 48, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 8:47 p.m. on Wis. 11 near Patterson Road in the Town of Clarno. She lost control on the snow-covered, slippery road. The vehicle veered into the ditch and collided with a road sign. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed.





Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, Feb. 26:

• Donald C. Blosch, 47, Shullsburg, reported no injuries at 5:52 a.m. after he hit a deer on Walnut Road in the Town of Wiota. His vehicle was moderately damaged.

• No injuries were reported at 5:18 p.m. after Carla M. Moldenhauer, 19, Shullsburg, lost control on the snow-covered road on Wis. 81 in the Town of Elk Grove. Her 1999 Chevrolet slid into the ditch and hit a fence. The Chevy sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 6:15 p.m. after Logan P. Stietz, 18, Argyle, lost control on the snow-covered road on County D in the Town of Wayne. The 1994 Dodge truck slid into the ditch and down an embankment. It sustained minor damage.
