MONROE - Tyler M. Brookman, 20, Brodhead, was injured but declined medical treatment when deputies, Juda First Response and Monroe EMS responded to the scene of a rollover accident in the N2400 block of County OK in the Town of Spring Grove at 5:34 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28. Brookman was southbound on County OK, north of Wisconsin 11, when he veered onto the shoulder while negotiating a curve. He overcorrected, causing the vehicle to skid sideways across both lanes, then roll over a private driveway and come to a rest on the passenger side. Brookman's passenger, Phillip A. Boyd, 20, Monroe, was uninjured. The vehicle sustained severe damage to the entire passenger side and undercarriage and was towed from the scene.
- Joshua K. Goebel, 28, Monroe, was uninjured in a rollover crash reported at 6:34 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, in the N7800 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of New Glarus. He was northbound in the right lane of a three-lane section of the highway when he started to merge into the passing lane. A pick-up truck started to pass Goebel and he swerved to avoid a collision. The vehicle Goebel was driving went into the east ditch, overturned and rolled several times before coming to a rest on its wheels. It was severely damaged and towed.

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, on Wisconsin 23 in the Town of Willow Springs. Mark D. Uebersetzig, 41, DeForest, was northbound when he swerved to miss a deer and entered the ditch. The vehicle sustained minor undercarriage damage.
- Virginia J. Grossen, 57, Shullsburg, reported no injuries at 8:16 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, after she hit a deer on County O in the Town of White Oak Springs. The vehicle was moderately damaged.
