MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 10:45 p.m. Friday in the W500 block of Wisconsn 81 in the Town of Spring Grove. Deputies report Brandon L. Perkins, 28, Brodhead, traveling east on Wis. 81, was turning into a private driveway when a car being driven by Chad D. Asmus, 32, Stoughton, rear-ended Perkins' vehicle. Perkins' vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Asmus' vehicle received severe damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a reported hit-and-run accident at about 4:45 a.m. Friday on Wisconsin 11/81, 0.2 miles west of Mt. Hope Road. Deputies report Lawrence J. Turner, 42, Brodhead was westbound on Wis. 11/81 when a dark colored pickup truck pulling an enclosed trailer crossed the center line. The driver's side of the trailer sideswiped the Turner vehicle, causing minor damage to the side view mirror and driver's door window. The pickup truck and trailer left the scene. The incident remains under investigation.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:45 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Race Road and Decatur Road in the Town of Decatur. Deputies report Marcy L. Vandeberg, 19, Orangeville, Ill., was turning onto Race Road from Decatur Road when her vehicle slid off the roadway and struck the embankment and then brushed against a power pole and telephone junction box. The vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene. Vandeberg was cited for defective (bald) tires and released pending court.
