BRODHEAD Police

BRODHEAD - Ryan J. Noonan, 19, Brodhead, was cited for inattentive driving at 6:10 p.m. May 25 in the 1300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On May 28:

• Glenn L. Day Sr., 78, Brodhead, was cited for operating a vehicle exceeding height limits at 10:53 a.m. in the 1900 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• Romelle S. Witkins, 62, Beloit, was cited for speeding at 4:57 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• Sadet Islami, 63, Monroe, was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign at 5:14 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue.

• Michael J. Kehoe, 49, Brodhead, was cited for a heavy truck route violation at 8:30 p.m. May 29 in the 100 block of Juniper Avenue.

• Michael W. Fischer, 29, Brodhead, was arrested and jailed on a warrant issued by Green County Circuit Court at 1:25 a.m. May 30 in the N300 block of East 2nd Avenue.

• Marvin A. Wuthrich Jr., 65, Brodhead, was cited for disorderly conduct at 5:19 p.m. June 2 in the 1300 block of East 2nd Avenue.

• Theresa M. Dinges, 27, Monroe, was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign at 12:18 a.m. June 3 in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue.

• Kimberly A. Lowe, 43, South Beloit, was cited for speeding at 10:47 p.m. June 6 in the 100 block of West 2nd Avenue.

• James A. Nehls Jr., 28, Brodhead, was cited for not having tail lights lit at night at 3:46 a.m. June 9 in the 200 block of East 9th Avenue.

• Myron A. Fairman, 47, Janesville, was cited for speeding at 2:10 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of 23rd Street.

• James E. Smailes, 25, Beloit, was arrested on a warrant issued by Rock County Circuit Court at 1:50 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of East 9th Avenue. Smailes was released after posting bond.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Saturday:

• Gary T. Metz, 30, Monroe, was arrested for bail jumping at 1:54 a.m. in the 1400 block of 17th Street. He was jailed pending court.

• Jeramy J. Calow, 32, Monroe, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department for operating while intoxicated at 11:17 p.m. in the 1900 block of 11th Street. He was jailed pending court.

• Daniele M. Valentino, 25, Monroe, was arrested for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct at 12:14 p.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of 21st Avenue. She posted bond and was released pending court.



NEW GLARUS Police

NEW GLARUS - On

June 8:

• Dump trucks nearly causing collisions were reported at 3:21 p.m. on 6th Avenue.

• Police responded at 5:08 p.m. to a residential alarm that was set off by accident.

On June 9:

• Roger J. Kalscheur, 61, New Glarus, was cited for failing to stop for an adult school crossing guard after a traffic complaint was reported at 11 a.m. in front of New Glarus Elementary School.

• Top Logistics, LLC, was cited for failing to report a fuel spill at 1:04 p.m. after police discovered a refrigerated semi that had fallen from its mooring, causing damage to a fuel tank and resulting in 25 to 50 gallons of diesel fuel being spilled. New Glarus Fire and the Wisconsin DNR ensured the spill was contained and properly cleaned up.

• Royal A. Berg, 52, Argyle, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 4:03 p.m. in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69.

• Darren W. Hamilton, 37, Spring Green, was cited for not having insurance and a seatbelt violation at 4:32 p.m. after police stopped him on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• A dog bite was reported at 5:36 p.m. in the 600 block of Windlach Street. A bite order was completed and forwarded to the Green County Health Department.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 10:26 p.m. in the 100 block of 3rd Street.

On Friday:

• Calsea A. Garbe, Blanchardville, was cited for not having insurance at 8:05 p.m. after police stopped her on 6th Avenue and Durst Road.

• Sawyer T. Kammerud was cited for not having insurance and operating without the required lights at 11:03 p.m. on Wis. 69 at County W.

On Saturday:

• Lisa M. Foulk, 49, Reeseville, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 12:24 p.m. after police stopped her at the intersection of Hosley Drive and Industrial Drive.

• Police assisted a bus that was stuck in a ditch at 5:39 p.m. in the 200 block of 2nd Street. A Madison towing service removed the bus.

• An assault was reported at 11:19 p.m. in the 200 block of 5th Avenue. The Green County Sheriff's Department, the Monticello Police Department and New Glarus Area EMS assisted. Charges are pending and the incident remains under investigation.

On Sunday:

• A vehicle parked illegally was reported at 1:37 p.m. on 6th Avenue at 1st Street. The vehicle was removed.

• A bird that fell into a storm sewer was reported at 6:45 p.m. in the 100 block of 9th Avenue. The bird was removed safely before police arrived.

• An unwanted person was reported at 9:19 p.m. at a residence in the 500 block of 14th Avenue. Police got the person to leave without incident.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Gustavo L. Miranda, 28, Monroe, was cited for operating after suspension at 9:07 p.m. Friday after police stopped him in the W1200 block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Sylvester. He was released pending court.

• Kody Klitzke was arrested for alleged first-offense operating while intoxicated and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration at 7:14 p.m. Sunday after he was involved in a one-vehicle crash on County C at Koller Circle in the Town of Washington. Klitzke, who lost control while negotiating a curve, went into a ditch and hit several trees, was also cited for failing to maintain control and operating left of center. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. A passenger, Brett J. Klitzke, 19, Monticello, sustained injuries but declined immediate medical attention. He was cited for first-offense underage alcohol consumption and released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Brittany M. Raymond, 23, Darlington, was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign, inattentive driving and not having reasonably clean windows at 1:53 a.m. after police stopped her on Center Street in South Wayne.

• William E. Watts, 56, Rockford, was cited for speeding at 4:20 p.m. after police stopped him on Wis. 81 in the Town of Seymour.

• Natalie R. Brettingen-Nash, 30, Kewasukum, was cited for speeding at 6:42 p.m. after police stopped her on U.S. Hwy. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Howard G. Williams Jr.. 51, Davenport, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 8:10 p.m. after police stopped him on U.S. Hwy. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 6:39 a.m. on Wis. 78 in the Town of Wiota.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 11 a.m. on South Lake Road in the Town of Fayette.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 11 a.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 11:39 a.m. on County I in the Town of Elk Grove.

• Police assisted the Platteville Police Department at 12:41 p.m. with a call on County XX in the Town of Elk Grove.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 11:45 p.m. on North Main Street in Gratiot.

On Saturday:

• Brock B. Barrett, 43, Rockford, was arrested on a warrant issued by the U.S. Marshals at 12:41 a.m. after police stopped him on Wis. 78 in the Town of Argyle. He was also cited for operating without a valid license and operating with a suspended registration. He remains jailed.

• Alexis Amaro Aguilar, 22, Darlington, was cited for speeding and operating without a valid license after police stopped him at 4:28 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.

• Police assisted the Shullsburg Police Department with a traffic stop at 12:51 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.

• Police responded at 3 a.m. to a report of a hit-and-run on Main Street in Gratiot. The incident remains under investigation.

• Telephone harassment was reported at 7:50 a.m. on County F in the Town of Blanchard.

• Telephone harassment was reported at 12:49 p.m. on Broad Street in Argyle.

• Suspicious vehicles were reported at 11:08 p.m. on Old Q Road in the Town of Argyle.

On Sunday:

• Joshua L. Lowe, 26, Browntown, was arrested for operating while intoxicated at 12:57 a.m. after police stopped him on Wis. 81 in the Town of Lamont. Lowe, who was also cited for operating left of center, was later released to a responsible party.

• Kevin J. Garcia, 20, Darlington, was arrested and jailed for operating while intoxicated after he was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 8:25 p.m. on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs. He was reportedly driving erratically in a parking lot and struck a concrete flight of stairs. He was also cited for underage alcohol consumption and operating without a valid license. No injuries were reported. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• Alexander M. Sanchez, 31, Darlington, was cited for operating without a valid license at 8:25 p.m. on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.

• Marvin L.M. Amaya, 28, Darlington, was arrested on a probation hold at 8:25 p.m. on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.

• Tanya A. Vincent, 41, Stockton, Ill., was cited for speeding at 4:46 p.m. after police stopped her on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• Police attempted to locate a vehicle at 12:14 p.m. that was reportedly speeding on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 6:57 a.m. on Highland Street in Belmont.

• An injured animal was reported at 12:35 p.m. on County Q in the Town of New Diggins.

• A stolen wallet was reported at 1:20 p.m. on West Estey Street in Shullsburg.

• Police responded at 5:04 p.m. to a 911 hang-up on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• Police responded at 9:41 p.m. to a traffic complaint on West Water Street in Shullsburg.
