Milton Eugene Liphart, 81 South Wayne, WI, passed away on Aug. 3rd 2013 at the VA Hospital-Hospice Unit- Madison, WI After a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born May 15th 1932 to Milton L. Liphart and Flossie (Dunaway) in Lena, IL. He graduated Pearl City, IL high school. He served 2 years in the Army in Korea. He married LaVonne Brinkmeier on March 14th 1953. They farmed in Lena and Pearl City, IL, then moved to WI in 1968 where he farmed and had a snowmobile business. Later he worked at Advance Transformer and Swiss Colony from where he retired. He and his wife moved to Arkansas close to Bull Shoals Lake in 1993 where he loved to fish. He and his wife did some remodeling of houses and garages. He was a first responder and tanker driver with Oakland/Promise Land Fire department. He moved back to WI with his wife on May 15th 2013 due to his health to be closer to family. He truly loved his family and friends. He is survived by his wife LaVonne, daughter Melodie (Charlie) Hawkins. Sons- Mark (Nancy) Liphart, Lee (Michelle) Liphart, of South Wayne, WI, Matt (Berni) Liphart of Bakersfield, CA, Monte Liphart of Browntown, WI. 3 sisters, 23 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and his beloved dog Babe. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 1 sister and 4 great grandsons. Friends and family may join us on August 17th 2013, at 1 p.m., Service at 2 p.m. with the Celebration of Life following at Lee Liphart's residence at 7801 Cty N South Wayne, WI.
