Greg A. Boeck, age 51 of Oak Creek, formerly Monroe, died on Friday, June 5, 2015 at his workplace. He was born on December 3, 1963 in Monroe, the son of Glen and MaryAnn "Susie" (Keller) Boeck. He was a 1982 graduate of Monroe High School and a 1986 graduate of U.W. Whitewater with a BA in Marketing. Greg played cornet and trumpet in the U.W. Whitewater Marching Band.

Throughout Greg's life he worked as a manager at the Monroe Dairy Queen, an assistant manager for Wal-Mart, Store Manager at Blockbuster Video and most recently as Store Manager for Uniform Advantage in Greendale, WI. He was an avid Star Trek fan, enjoyed TV trivia, pop music and was a great photographer, but most of all, he was involved with anything that had to do with trains. He was a great train enthusiast. His other greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his parents, Glen and Susie Boeck; siblings, Alan (Laurie) Boeck, Gary Boeck, both of Monroe, Shelly Boeck of Cape Coral, FL; niece, Jordan Boeck (God-child); nephew, Matthew Torkelson-Boeck; great nephews, Preston (God-child) and Connor; special friends, Betty Brindza, Paula Schoenike, Chris Wenzel and honorary nephews Nathan, Josh and Brandon. He is predeceased by his grandparents.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 10th from 5-7 p.m. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Union Cemetery in South Wayne, WI.

A memorial fund has been established in Greg's name at Town Bank in Monroe.
