Green County Felonies

• The court Friday scheduled an April 1 district attorney conference for Roger W. Uphoff, 59, Madison, who pleaded not guilty to failure to pay child support.

Court records indicate he failed to pay child support between Jan. 1, 2001 and Nov. 12, 2001; between April 2002 and January 2003; between February 2003 and December 2003; and between January 2004 and November 2004. He was convicted of failure to pay child support in 1998.

He is charged with four counts of failure to support as a repeat offender, two are class E felonies and two are class I felonies. He faces more than 33 years in prison and up to $40,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $6,000 signature bond.

In a second case, the court Friday scheduled an April 1 district attorney conference for Uphoff for a bail jumping charge.

Court records indicate he failed to appear at a preliminary hearing Nov. 11, 2005.

He is charged with bail jumping, a class H felony. He faces up to six years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $1,000 cash bond.

• The court Friday scheduled an April 2 plea/sentencing hearing for Dustin J. Olson, who faces charges in three separate incidents.

In the first case, Olson is charged with two counts of bail jumping, both class H felonies. He faces up to 12 years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.

Court records indicate he twice violated his bond Feb. 27 in Monroe. He was on bond for theft, driving a vehicle without the owner's consent and criminal damage to property.

He remains free on a $3,600 signature bond and a $400 cash bond.

In the second case, he remains free on a $4,500 signature bond.

Court records indicate he violated his bond three times Dec. 18 in Monroe.

He is charged with three counts of bail jumping, each a class H felony. He faces up to 18 years in prison and up to $30,000 in fines, if convicted.

In the original case, he remains free on a $3,000 signature bond.

He is charged with operating a vehicle without the owner's consent, a class H felony, theft, a class I felony, and criminal damage to property, a class A misdemeanor. He faces more than 10 years in prison and up to $30,000 in fines, if convicted.

Court records indicate he took a snowmobile from Monroe Powersports Dec. 8. He cut a hole in the fence to gain access to the property.
