GREEN COUNTY — Beginning April 18, Green County Public Health is returning to the Green County Government Services Building (N3152 Wis. 81, Monroe, WI 53566) for COVID-19 testing.

Testing will be available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment only. Community members can schedule an appointment by calling Green County Public Health at (608) 328-9390. The last day of testing at the Bauer Education Center will be on Thursday, April 14.

Individuals should register for their test ahead of time at https://register.covidconnect.wi.gov/en-US/ this link is also available on the GCPH website, gcpublichealth.org. People who do not have access to internet or a computer can register on-site. Registering ahead of time makes the testing process easier for staff and community members.

Community members will need to remain in their vehicle during testing. Testing will take place under the over-hang in the front of the building, please follow the signs indicating where to go. GCPH staff will come outside to test community members at the time that they are scheduled for, and they encourage community members not to arrive more than a few minutes before their scheduled testing time.

Testing is open to anyone 12 months of age and older. People 12 months to 17 years old will need a parent or guardian with them to get tested.

Additional options for COVID-19 testing can be found on the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website, COVID-19 testing webpage: https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/community-testing.htm.
