WISCONSIN DELLS - Taylor Kernen, the daughter of Tiffany Wiser-Bell, was chosen to be a state finalist at the National American Miss Wisconsin pageant held Aug. 23 and 24 at the Chula Vista Resort.
The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4 through 18, competing in five different age divisions. Kernen, 8, of New Glarus, will participate in the junior pre-teen age division.
The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the National Pageant in California, where she will receive a complimentary Tour of Hollywood and two V.I.P. tickets to Disneyland.
