MONROE — The Green County Genealogical Society (GCGS) will host a Friday Fun Day at 1 p.m. on July 26 in The GCGS Research Center, located in the lower level of the Monroe Public Library.

The event entails an informal discussion on Clarno, Cadiz and Jordan townships. Retired Pastor Ron Nybroten will talk about his memories growing up in and around Cadiz, Clarno and Jordan townships.

The GCGS Research Center has plat maps, tax records and other reference materials for the townships available.
