'Hamlet' Ready to Take Stage
'Hamlet' Ready to Take Stage
Chris Page, 15, plays Hamlet during rehearsal at the Monroe Arts Center on Thursday for the modern-day adaptation of the Shakespeare play that he wrote himself. Although Page has played several big roles, this is his largest to date. His favorite scene is when Hamlet confronts Gertrude in the bedroom and starts to act crazy. The play is produced by the Shakespeare on the Edge program and stars area youth. It will be performed at MAC at 7 p.m. today and 2 p.m. Saturday. It is free and open to the public.
