GREEN BAY — Cade Meyer, a 2021 Monroe High School graduate, was named to the Horizon League’s All-Freshman team Feb. 28.

Meyer, a 6-9 forward for UW-Green Bay, averaged 10.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game this season for the Phoenix. He started in all 29 games for UWGB this year, including the 20 Horizon League contests. He averaged 24.3 minutes per game and was second on the squad in rebounds and third in total points.

UW-Green Bay struggled this season, finishing 5-24 overall and just 4-16 in conference play. They lost in the opening round of the Horizon League playoffs against Detroit Mercy 79-62.
