STOUGHTON - The Raiders used a quick strike to spark their way to a 4-1 victory over the Vikings Thursday.
Sophomore sensation Hannah Kernen scored 30 seconds into the game for Sugar River and Katie Viney added a goal in the seventh minute to give the Raiders all the cushion they would need.
Kernen scored her second goal of the game in the 18th minute, and Sugar River went into the break ahead 3-0.
Stoughton scored in the 46th minute, but Kaitlyn Schluter connected just two minutes later.
The Raiders host Monroe Friday in a 'Pink Out' game for cancer research. The contest starts at 7 p.m. in Belleville.
