MONROE — The Cheesemakers lost to Stoughton 3-0 in the WIAA regional playoffs May 4.

The game was scoreless through the first half. One of Stoughton’s goals came via a penalty kick.

Monroe closes the alternate fall season 0-9. The Cheesemakers battled injuries to upperclassmen, and were forced to play freshmen and sophomores in high-leverage minutes throughout the year. However, the team didn’t have any seniors, and all full roster is expected to return in the fall.
