BLANCHARDVILLE - Senior Kyle Kleppe continued his hot start at the plate by going 3-for-4 with two RBI to power the Pecatonica High School baseball team to a 16-6 five-inning win over Argyle on Monday.

"We got off to a good start," Pecatonica coach Jim Strommen said. "We hit the ball hard. We put the ball in play and hit a lot of ground balls that found holes. We did a good job of going to the opposite field. Everything went our way in the first inning."

Pecatonica junior A.J. Hendrickson went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI, and junior Cory Linder was 2-for-3 with two RBI. Pecatonica senior Gavin Burdick went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
