Horicon outlasts Sugar River wrestlers

HORICON - Horicon posted three pins and received two forfeits to knock off the Sugar River wrestling team in a dual match 38-24 on Thursday.

Sugar River's Max Gerner at 132 pounds pinned Horicon's Mike Zamorano in 1 minute, 35 seconds. At 195, Sugar River's Tanner Jelle pinned Horicon's Dan Olbinski in 1:16. Sugar River's Daniel Enloe (heavyweight) pinned Horicon's Brittney Roser in 1:19.

The other win for the Raiders came from Trevor Enloe (145), who clipped Horicon's Tristan Albert 4-3. Lucas Fink (113) edged Horicon's Chace Tuttle 2-0. In another nail-biter, Horicon's Marshall Coffey (126) clipped Sugar River's Justin Knoebl 8-7.

The Raiders forfeited matches at 106 and 160.
