Michael E. Bainbridge, age 71, of Monroe, died on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Monroe Clinic Hospice Home. He was born on April 3, 1949 the son of Cletus and Joan (Rooney) Bainbridge in Cuba City. He was a graduate of South Wayne High School and furthered his education at UW Platteville.
Michael worked at Swiss Colony for 28 years. He then owned and operated Quality Home Improvement for 20 years. Michael was the Assistant Football Coach for Black Hawk High School for over 20 years. He also served on the South Wayne Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed football and woodworking.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Megan Kammerud of Mineral Point and Miranda (Paul) Wiegel of Blanchardville; fiancé, Cathy Blakely of Monroe; his mother, Joan Bainbridge of Cuba City; 6 grandchildren, Easton, Brody, and Audrina Kammerud, and Emmilin, Bain, and Eleana Wiegel; 3 step-children, Jeremy, Jesse, and Crystal Blakely; 10 step-grandchildren; siblings, Chris (Dennis) Grossen of Browntown, Patrick (Donna) Bainbridge of Verona, Terry (Brenda Cox) Bainbridge of St. Louis, MO, and Tom Bainbridge of Browntown; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cletus.
