Everly A. Miller age 96 of Brodhead died Monday, August 6, 2018 at her home. She was born on September 26, 1921 in Janesville, the daughter of George and Esther (Little) Dransfield. She attended Janesville High School. Everly married Harry Nehls on June 6, 1940 in Dubuque, Iowa; he died March 7, 1957; she later married Orville Miller on October 20, 1959 in Brodhead, he died in 1979. She worked at Rank seed company, Harlan Sprague Dawley Company, and she also worked as a caretaker for an animal shelter. Everly is a member of Christ the Rock Church; she enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, knitting, crocheting and quilting.

She is survived by her children: Penny (Rodney) Olson of Beloit, Everly “Lee” (Dennis) Fisher of Monroe, Nancy (William) Heidenreich of Monroe, Bruce Nehls of Brodhead, William Miller of Martinsburg, Iowa, Daniel Miller of Madison, and Jack (Tracey) Miller of Rio, WI; 14 grandchildren: Wendy, Levi and Nathan Olson, David, Steve, Tammy Carlson, Amanda Nehls, William and Laurie Heidenriech, Shane and Karsyn Nehls, Michael, Jennifer and Kristen Miller;      many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son: Harry Nehls, grandson: Nolan Nehls, 3 brothers: George, Harry and Joe, sister: Mary Marsh.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 10, 2018 at Christ the Rock Church in Janesville, with Pastor Mike Dissmore officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery, Brodhead. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 9th,        from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Everson Funeral Home, Brodhead and on Friday,      from 10:00 am until the time of service, at the church.
